TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Saved Payment Method Terms

You may elect to save a payment method, such as a debit or credit card to your Profile.  In order to be enrolled in the Interval Membership Automatic Renewal Option or to use certain benefits, such as Unit-Size Upgrade, Cruise Exchange or redemption of certain resort accommodation certificates, you will be required to have a valid payment method associated with your Profile.  If there is a problem charging your designated payment method, we may charge any other valid payment method associated with your Profile.  Visit the Payment Method Information under the “My Profile” section to manage your payment options.

•    Automatic Renewal Option:  When enrolled in Interval’s Membership Automatic Renewal Option, annual renewal dues will be charged automatically to the payment method indicated, at the rate applicable at membership expiration, unless you cancel prior to the renewal date by accessing “My Memberships” and modifying your Automatic Renewal settings or by contacting membership support services at your local servicing office. Interval will provide you with no less than thirty (30) calendar days’ written notice of renewal prior to processing such automatic charge, and membership will continue from year to year for as long as you are eligible for membership.

•    Unit-Size Upgrade:  When placing an exchange request, depending on availability, you may be offered the chance to request a Unit-Size Upgrade. You will be asked to provide or designate your payment method, and if confirmed to a larger unit, you will be charged a Unit-Size Upgrade fee.  If your exchange request is confirmed, but there is no Unit-Size Upgrade available, you will not be charged the Unit-Size Upgrade fee.

•    Cruise Exchange:  Confirming a cruise exchange requires payment of an Interval Options transaction fee as well as a supplemental fee.  The supplemental fee varies based on several factors, including but not limited to, the exchange demand of the home resort week, quality and size of the unit relinquished, and the type of cruise vacation package selected.  The supplemental fee also takes into account the cruise line, season, cabin, port and government taxes and fuel surcharges.  Payment of the supplemental fee requires a valid payment method to be associated to your Profile.

•    Resort Accommodation Certificates:  In connection with the use of certain resort accommodation certificates, your payment method will be stored for no more than 24 hours after the Confirmation is issued to you in order to allow us to determine the tax associated with your purchased destination and complete payment for the transaction.
